Appointment FAQs
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This allows our team to finalize your check-in and verify your information so you can enjoy your full dedicated time with the dental team.
Can I complete my paperwork before I arrive?
Absolutely! We can text/email your new patient forms directly to you so you can complete them in the comfort of your home. If you prefer to handle everything in the office, we are more than happy to help you in person—just be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to allow for processing.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens. If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know at least 48 business hours in advance. This courtesy allows us to offer that time slot to another patient who may be waiting for care.
Insurance FAQs
Do you accept my dental insurance?
Yes! Anthem Dental is in-network with most major PPO insurance plans. We want your experience to be as seamless as possible, so please call our office with your insurance details at least 48 hours before your visit. We’ll be happy to verify your coverage and help you understand your benefits before you even walk through the door.
Will my insurance cover the entire cost of treatment?
Coverage can vary by plan and procedure, and most plans don’t cover 100% of all treatment. We’ll review your benefits, submit everything on your behalf, and do our best to help you maximize what your insurance allows. We’ll also go over any estimated out-of-pocket costs with you before treatment.
What if Anthem Dental is “out-of-network” for my provider?
You may be surprised to learn that many out-of-network benefits are still very competitive! Our team is proactive and will work with your insurance carrier to help you maximize your benefits so you can get the high-quality care you deserve without breaking your budget.
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
No insurance? No problem. We believe everyone deserves a healthy smile. We have flexible payment options and internal solutions designed to help uninsured patients fit essential dental care into their monthly budget.
When do my dental benefits expire?
Most dental benefits operate on a “use it or lose it” system, resetting every year on January 1st. Unused benefits typically do not roll over to the next year. If you have remaining benefits, we recommend scheduling your treatment before December 31st to make the most of your coverage. Please keep in mind that some treatments may take a few weeks to complete so we advise not waiting until the last minute.
Payment & Financing FAQs
What are my options for paying for dental care?
To make things easy, we accept a variety of payment methods, including:
● Cash
● Monthly Payment Options
● Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex)
How much will my dental visit cost?
Since every patient’s needs are unique, the most accurate pricing comes after a comprehensive initial exam. After your check-up, our team will provide a clear, transparent explanation of your treatment costs and the various ways we can help you manage them.
Do you offer dental payment plans or financing?
Yes! We offer flexible financing options that allow you to split the cost of your treatment into smaller, monthly payments. This is a great way to receive necessary care immediately without the stress of an upfront lump-sum payment.
How can I lower my overall dental expenses?
Preventive care is one of the simplest and most affordable ways to take care of your smile. Seeing us regularly helps us spot issues early, when treatment is usually easier and less expensive. Along with a healthy lifestyle (diet, sleep, nutrition, hydration, daily brushing, flossing and much more) these visits can help you avoid more extensive treatment down the road.
What if I have more questions about my bill?
We love helping our patients navigate the financial side of their care. If you have questions about a statement, an insurance claim, or a treatment estimate, please give our office a call. Our friendly front-desk team is always here to provide clarity and peace of mind.
